Solitary or in small, open clusters; six white tepals, generally equal in size (up to 2 cm long), centred on a six-chambered pistil and six stamens, which have triangular white filaments and pale brown anthers. The undersides of the tepals have a prominent green stripe

Narrow, linear, hairless, up to 30 cm long; green with a thin pale-coloured midstripe
