Flowers:
Flowerheads, up to 18 mm in diameter, have between eight and ten relatively broad, oval ray florets around a centre of 50 or more pale yellow or greenish disc florets, below which are several rows of lanceolate phyllaries, brown along the margins, and covered by downy, appressed hairs. The hair covering extends along the upper part of the stem. Flowerheads are arranged in open clusters

Opposite, hairless, linear to narrowly lanceolate; up to 6 cm long, lined by small, regular, sharp teeth
