Flowers:
Flowerheads contain disc florets only, typically around 15 to 20, in a compact cluster. Florets have five linear lobes, orange to yellow, partly transparent. The green phyllaries are also narrow and linear, pointed at the tip, ascending to spreading, and are sparsely hairy towards the base
Leaves:
Alternate, narrow, linear, entire, hairless, up to 5 cm long, with a faint midvein
