Flowers:
Flowerheads are up to 2.5 cm in diameter, with (usually) 13 yellow ray florets around a centre of yellow disc florets, a ring of narrow green bracts below, and a few short bractlets at the base of the involucre. The inflorescence is a flat-topped cluster, of up to 60 flowerheads
Leaves:
Pinnately lobed, with a relatively large, oval terminal lobe. Lobes are narrower for leaves higher up the stem. Upper surfaces are mostly hairless, while the lower surfaces are cottony
