Flowers:
Five white petals, notched to about a quarter of the length, and pointed green sepals with a covering of glandular hairs. The sepals lack silvery margins but may be purplish at the tip. Flowers are produced in small, dense clusters. The ten stamens and five styles are all relatively short
Leaves:
Opposite, ovate, densely covered with sticky (glandular) hairs. Leaves may be purplish at the tip and at the base
