Flowers:
The corolla is bright yellow, up to 2 cm long, with a hooded, undivided upper lip and a longer lower lip, divided into three rounded, equal-sized lobes. The tubular calyx is a little shorter, and is divided about half way into four triangular lobes. The inflorescence is an elongated cluster, the flowers subtended by toothed, leaf-like bracts

Opposite, lanceolate, stalkless, sparsely glandular hairy, up to 4 cm long, lined by a few large teeth; on glandular hairy stems
