Hairy, green calyces and pale pink corollas, divided into a two-lobed upper lip and three-lobed lower lip. The four stamens are included. Corollas are twice as long as the calyces. Flowers are arranged in one or more vertical clusters
Leaves:
Opposite, lanceolate, up to 7 cm long, deeply pinnately lobed, on hairy, square stems
