Around 15 mm across; five pale to dark purple petals, white and sparsely hairy at the base. The spur is paler than the petals and slightly upturned at the base. Sepals are rounded at the tip and have very short appendages at the base

Heart-shaped, with rather pointed tips, hairy (especially underneath), long-stalked; in a basal rosette but not along the flowering stems. Leaf stalks and stems are covered by spreading hairs
